Fun Times with Family

This weekend is already a blur and it is only Sunday.  We spent several hours in the car and we are all exhausted, but we got to spend lots of quality time with our families and we are so thankful for that. :)
On Friday, David took off half a day so that we could miss out on some of the traffic that slows us down on most NWA bound weekends. It worked!  We were able to make it to Berryville in a record 3 hours and no one even got sick (Dramamine is a wonderful thing)! :)
Friday night, we went out to eat with my parents and one of my sisters, Elisha.  My parents happily gave up their "date night" to have dinner with us instead and it was really nice to get to see them without any time constraints. :)  Here is a photo that my mom snapped while at dinner... (ignore the red eyes, my mom leaves her flash on, on her phone...)

After dinner, the older two kiddos went home with Nana and Bumpa for a sleepover and we took Eli to Mam's for a sleepover of our own.  We were exhausted from being in the car with three kids and two dogs for three hours, so it was nice to be on the farm and relax for a while.
Saturday morning, my mom and I took Ali and Drew to see my grandmother (who is in a nursing home). I have been wanting to see her for a few weeks now and her smiling face brought me to tears.  It was so good to hold her hand and give her lots of hugs and kisses. We, of course, got lots of pictures of our day spent with grandma. Here are a few...

Isn't she just adorable? I love that woman SO much!! I didn't want to leave her...:(

When mom brought me back to the farm, we found this: (it was too cute to not get a pic of!)

Apparently Mam ordered a swing set for the kiddos and Pa and David spent 4 hours trying to assemble this monster of a swing set!  They only reached step 18 of 80+!!  I feel sorry for Pa...someone has to finish it! LOL

Saturday night, we took Mam, Pa and Miss Cat to Big Cedar for an early Mother's Day dinner. It was delicious, as always! They have the best Prime Rib and we absolutely love the atmosphere.

Sunday morning, it was time to head home.  I made sure to get a couple of pictures with my parents before leaving. My daddy was all dressed up for church. He looked so handsome! :)

My mom also got a quick shot of the whole family before we headed out!
Okay...so I won't be framing it, but its a rare occasion that we get a family shot, so I am proud of it regardless. ;)
We are safely home now and SO ready for bed, so I'll end with this:
"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart."  Psalms 37:11
